Oh How I love this festive time,
Time of family and friends so dear,
of loved ones very far or very near,

Time to be thankful for what you've got,
health, food, family and friends,
good times and laughter that never ends,

Around the holidays I can always remember,
gathering around the table to pray,
eating all the homemade food on display,

But most importantly, as I recall,
Sticks with me throughout the year,
is the after dinner love and cheer,

After dinner we all gather around,
in the family room to decorate the tree,
watching my favorite show on tv,

it has become a tradition of ours,
It started when I was a little girl,
one that I have kept like a great pearl,

To me, it wouldn't be Thanksgiving,
without the whole gang on the block,
Charlie Brown, Snoopy,Woodstock,

next is the Charlie Brown Christmas,
"OH Christmas Tree", "Oh Christmas Tree"
