you were feeling better music
the slow easy kind
that slips over the head
and swallows the want to places

I pushed all the buttons
on your juke box called maybe
for more than a lifetime full size
the keep me awake sleepy kind

and you asked about my eyes
why they had always wanted
to be the first ones to know you
and how you made love

even before the man of me
could climb into your branches
and take my kite dreams down
you kept your strings attached

and just let me tug you lovely, often

Me thinks that you need to be given a special award for being the most incredible smile maker to have ever blessed the earth......cuz darn mister, you sure know how to make people smile.  You bring such happy thoughts with your poetry.   Love this, D.

This poem certainly tugs at me.  I love it and I love the last lines that I pasted above.  My word artist friend -- thank you for the wonderful.
