Receptive Breaths

Gentle sensations relish change
~~When October greets November

As leaves drop down no longer drinking
O’er winds remorse blushed deeper thinking
Passion heightens through the days still tender
The thrill upcoming camouflaged under the weather

By wool sock blown these thoughts to tether
The way has changed its afterglow
Portrait perfect yet I know
And feel
Sinking into something more ideal
Cottage creeks and river spirits run

Knitted into cashmere hugs all said and done
I’m here
Still near as only you would know
Spinning spent the autumn place or show
My heart hears the echo in your mind
Dampening the air in pride

So let the unleashed winds combined
Remove my gloves, in search to find
Your hands that know the way of me
Not given up so easily

My feet remain on solid ground
It is warm thoughts I wrap around
You

"As leaves drop down no longer drinking

and then?

"By wool sock blown these thoughts to tether
The way has changed its afterglow"

these have such a witchy way about them (and I'm rather fond of such rhythms)

and "cashmere hugs"

Trademark lush imagery, Kathleen!

I have been away too long.

ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

TD

"My feet remain on solid ground

You"

Such a wonderful sentiment in this...wrapped in the lush of your always awesome imagery.
