       Eagles Mere, PA
      (an ‘impression’)

The ‘Endless’ mountain road
winds ever upward
through crackling-cold air
and the wild, keen music
  of sunrise…
to which eagles once danced
  airborne arabesques,
reflected in mirror-lake ecstasy;
and soft snow-feather trees
tickle glowering clouds
to the edge of silent laughter…
by “the town that Time forgot,”
where Nature still speaks
in a voice of quiet thunder,
to those who cherish
the old ways of ‘listening,’
‘seeing,’and ‘being!’

Ah,what artistry in the conveyance of your trained eye Maestro.
This was a painting and a song you rendered here.
Beautiful scapes!

Nothing connects us more deeply to the divine Source than this "being" in midst of wondrous creation.

Wonderful!

Wow, Bruce...who needs a camera with you around?

"the wild, keen music
  of sunrise…
to which eagles once danced
  airborne arabesques,
reflected in mirror-lake ecstasy;"

I appreciate your capture of this....Kacy sent me here...I'm glad she did.

This poem makes me homesick in a good way. Beautifully written, I so enjoyed reading -

"and the wild, keen music
  of sunrise…
to which eagles once danced
  airborne arabesques,
reflected in mirror-lake ecstasy;
and soft snow-feather trees
tickle glowering clouds
to the edge of silent laughter…"

And especially these line:

"where Nature still speaks
in a voice of quiet thunder,"

It really does in that special place.
