I saw a girl And fell in love Two years before the day The call it came On wings i sprang For love had come to stay Not one but two With eyes like you God blessed us yet again And then one day My sky turned grey And shadow crossed my heart The love i'd felt Was turned about And gone the other way In waking sleep I see those eyes A trickle formed within And question why About the lie Of breaking seven sin I know not what to tell those eyes When waking sleep is real Just hope in time Not unlike mine their cuts will surely heal |
