       Beyond November

When sad-November clouds
resting on the barren treetops…
cry frigid tears of discontent
on Autumn’s passing,
and Nature’s cruelest ‘joke’
that nothing lives…but to die,
dream instead of wind-kissed
  mountain forests,
where the quiet and gentle spirit
may choose to walk in stillness
and fine surrender to a twilight
  Winter snow,
with warm-bright memories
and hopes of Love…and Spring’s
  renewal!

"dream instead of wind-kissed
  mountain forests"

Yes...that is exactly what I intend to do tonight!

Bruce, I love it!  There should be a book of just November poetry with yours and Kacy's featuring largely in it.

Nothing really dies after autumn...just hibernates  for the winter... and November is not a bad month lol... because i was born in November .... but what really makes my heart skip a beat is when the birds start to sing again for spring

So very lovely.  You, again, move me with the beauty of your words. You are among my very favorite here.

Thank you for sharing so much that you see and feel.
