In the night, when from the stars stretch out from the airy heavens. The moon awakens with a sigh and the fleeting sky carries the tune of the nightingale through the evergreen shadows. Angels stand against the holy hue of twilight, and a lovers tears of high spirit stain the earth. Fragrant flowers and forests of Autumn leaves lightly wet with morning due, and wade the running rivers near and wash away the hour. Gentle beauty turns her face with a certain magic and day and night is divided by the music that plays sweetly to her breath. I think the beauty of your verse is better caught if you separate the sentences. Delightful. Love, Margherita |
