I will never know how it feels to be let down.
I can only imagine how it feels to be forgotten.
Life has been too good for me.
My life would never abuse me.
True friends would never deceive me.
My life has never been cut.
So I’ve never had the chance to bleed.
I won’t know how it’s like;
You won’t believe me when I tell you this,
But, I have been spared.
I live in a world of peace.
A world of tranquility;
I have a home,
Food, and shelter.
It might not be what I want.
But, I have more than enough.
In our world,
It’s all about wants.
But in theirs,
It’s all about needs.

just to let you know, I lived in that world for over 30 years...and then it came crashing down. So be prepared (just in case) for I wasn't.

That's a great poem with an optimistic approach.

However, all good things come to an end. And without a little negativity and evil, you can never fully appreciate the good you receive.

Nice read.
