You wake me with coffee and a smile,
So I leave my dreaming for a while,
To sit and listen to your plans,
Then I get dressed and get the car,
Riding to the airport that’s not too far,
So that you can travel to other lands.
There’s nothing said that will hold you
So our words are far too few
A hug and a quick goodbye
And I return home with a sigh
To fall into dreams not so new.

You know,
Something should be said to hold me...I think I would be spellbound!
Nice write.

An unsettling undertone here.  Sounds like you need to talk....

Poet, said my Muse to me, look in thy heart and write.

Thanks to all, new words and songs will come, and even a new dream or two.
