it was on the other side of mystery where day dreams were solo candy given as gifts to blind men without strings for returning when the healing finally begins I brought you sand castle poems unassembled as flip flop cowboys bare foot boots you seemed to love to hear on your window place ladder when the dogs were watching peacocks and the woman of your skin was wearing her midnight oils like saliva diamonds on glitter under the indigo of a quicksand sky, where you said your mister waits without hooks in his moon or rules in his directionary perhaps only some sand on occasion and maybe even a pearl or two or something with caramel flavors to wake you on each other's mornings ___________ daark |
