Spirit Alive / The Game

Encompassed with newed energy
No man is ‘more my enemy,
For love hath chased away the binds
That captured my heart in it’s ties.
A soul now free to prosper true
But all must live their penance due,
This spirit that was once ‘fore caged
Alive to live another day.
Shackles finally broke loose,
But stand the time for those who lose,
This game of love, of which I won,
But many still must battle on,
As I embrace this breeze of life,
‘Cause in this game I rolled the dice,
And fate hath dealt me a good hand,
Broken free from No Man’s Land.
As other’s wait their turn in line,
For their numbers on that dice,
I pray that their hand will come in,
But many play and few will win.
The game of love, that keeps us down,
It’s no fun when your spirit’s bound.
So as I watch from my domain,
I’ll never let fate win again,
You never see me play too near,
‘Cause losing is, my biggest fear.

So as I watch from my domain,
I'll never let fate win again,
You never see me play too near,
'Cause losing is, my biggest fear.

And this could be an obstacle really ...

Yet there is a point in your reasoning.

Very good write.

Love,
Margherita
