They fell
Into the darkened skies that overwhelmed earth’s dance as fingers deftly plied dew laden flowers and kissed the waiting morn.

They grasped
a heart’s beat....as laughter strode silently into the dawn, and a tunneled burrow kept closed a predator’s eyes before death again stalked the fields in search of a timid mouse.

They knew
time carried the eve as death whispered into preening ears and a cougar’s roar danced the walls of echoed songs while fires awoke the dew and a  ooyote’s yip startled the restless and  terrified
rat awaiting the rattle’s wicked sound....again,
once again.

Magnus~
I love reading you ... and this is just ONE of the reasons why -

'as fingers deftly plied dew laden flowers and kissed the waiting morn.'

*sighs* from Florida coming your way~

Not surprised that you don't understand it.
Sometimes,  it just comes out that way and
the sense of it is in my head....Duhhhh.

It is a night...transition to night,  a
time where animals stalk,  where some lie
deathly quiet in wait of prey or a predator.

That is basically what it is about....

Thanx for the reply...

Barry....I like the the feeling in this...sort of somewhere dark and mysterious, almost bad, but not because that's how beauty sometimes looks.  If that makes any sense.

Poetically a treat, dear Barry, and very subtle in its meaning.

Enjoyed this write greatly!
