               Nature’s  Way

As the last fleeting sunbeams dance
beyond the tattered edge of twilight,
across the stretching miles of evening...
and the vast ebony cloak of heaven,
(trimmed in drifting clouds and stars)
descends to meet these radiant hills
dipped in finest liquid-moonlight...
just this side of our quicksilver dreams,
Nature speaks in clearest ‘voice’ of the
   deep forest,
chanting eternal truths out of Time
to those few hearts, minds, and spirits
large enough to listen…and to seek
a far different, 'better way!'

"radiant hills
dipped in finest liquid-moonlight...
just this side of our quicksilver dreams,"
Dreamy gorgeous imagery! That's a scene I could immerse myself in forever!

..."Chanting eternal truths out of time"...

Strong lines, beautifully displayed in moonlight's sleeve.

This one is one of many that should be carved in wax and cast in bronze, don't you think, Readers? The muse spoke clearly to you when you wrote this one, Poet!

Yes, ArtSolstice!
I'm all for bronze-casting this poet's words.
