In you, I find a truth
harder than ever
to follow my own advice
For my own sake
and nothing else
I would trade riches
for one kiss
And confess
that I adore you
more than you
have ever liked me
I have seen your star
and rushed here and there
to become illuminated
I’d kiss your poetry
in the hope you’d
favor me with
but a trace of honey
Beauty will keep
But you never will

Dare to be audacious and confess! The poem is the first step and quite lovely.

Good luck!

I'll kiss yours ~ if you kiss mine! lol ~ Sorry, I couldn't help myself! I think the juice that I just drank must have started to ferment!

The title "Kissing Your Poetry" was very sweet, poetic ~ and alluring! ~ as were the words that followed!
