Sunflowers, Wolf Birds, and Ways We Touch

Dizzying the sunshine
Ascends as bound, hesitant only to trust the sky is blue
All I feel for you calls to the wind; bend briskly yellow dancers on the drive
Familiar melody could blow through me as days contrive
But for sudden shifts of emotional wisdom
Subside the breeze

What dalliance do I evoke in these?
Sensations soak, so well aware now gentle wishes court
As Ravens delve hospitably as sport, such shadow shakers on the prowl
The fore crisp colors glow in gray, portend dismay and howl
Such tenderness, expressed outstretched the talons intervention
Close by your heart, my best intention soars

And limitless such gentleness restores
The water of your words implores my crave to taste
Wainscot fences pleat the senses, here beside your sable graze
Not too proud to mouth out loud my deepest thanks and praise
But understand discerning man, it is the slight of hand that speaks
And mine elucidates the very soul and all that my love truly seeks

It is a pleasure to stop by Passions and find this treasure you have left here Kathy!

You have grown and blossomed in your writing since first I read you.

Wishing you the best,
Sincerely, Nancy

Hi, TD. It was difficult for me to pick out my favourite line, however, I think this one held a special meaning for me:

"The water of your words implores my crave to taste"

You write so beautifully.
