it won't be all that long
before my days are consumed and gone
and it'll certainly be sooner than that for this song
to be sung I've already seen the last merry-go-round
you should know it came singing thorugh a dream
like a tarnished taste I must not of cared ta
remember but I had so hoped to find
an elusive love that must
have gotten
some
where
misplaced
a long the line
but honestly I think it
was lost to a time and can't be
found or replaced in fact trying to recover it

is just a useless scenario yet the love story lingers on
so what ever happened to that love you do see it's what I
really want to hold again and the only thing I can recall is
that it disappeared like a mist in the dawn of a waking
youth aroused some years later only to find it
was truly gone never to be found I
sighed I cried I lied for
a while until
I couldn't
fake
it

any more and for the sake of a happily
ever after I thought it best to let you know the
most beautiful part about this scenario is it just
happens to be imbedded permanently in my
memory unfortunate sometimes
but still a place nothing
escapes

Hi Dale........Dreams and things are here and gone, yet a poem is a dream-thing or a thing of dreams that once written, always is.  It's really good to see you!  Hug!

"yet the love story lingers on" ~ and you have shared it so beautifully.

Warm, loving memories such as yours, can be bittersweet when revisited.

Giving you a warm, welcome-back hug,

EA

Earth Angel

Thanks so much. You seem to have more insight
than most or you really are an angel.

LUCKY !!
Well, lucky ME .. to get to read another of your beautifully word-sculpted pieces~

It is, as always, so delicately done~

So !  How the heck are you and that lovely Rosemary doing ???

Miss you ... hey, did ya' know that I've had a book PUBLISHED ????

'Out of the Whispering Winds' came out around the first of this year .... available online at www.amazon.com or at www.barnesandnoble.com

Needless to say ... (but I will anyhow) ... I am SO proud of it ... a poetic legacy to honor my Native American Indian heritage~

Life is good and I keep busy~

*HUGLETS* to you both~
Lots of love~

Voice and form blend well, my mind is caught in the share of thought and presentation, a gifted write, leaving image and sound, a poet from fanstory lead me to this, I am so glad he did, enjoyed.. Walt
