Golden Autumn words fall thoughtfully
from your pensive poetic pen,
dipped in rich earth-imagery
(Walden Pond-like)
embellishing a frigid night,
then capturing warm light
dancing through dawn's curtains
to stretch a morning mind
in magnificent splendor.
Like gentle fallen whispers,
each richly hued phrase caresses,
soothes the restless questing spirits
hovering anxiously overhead.

Love is never dead...
sometimes, it is
simply sleeping,
waiting awakening
by the simultaneous fall
of two hearts.

I doubt if true poetry falls pensively from truthful pen.

Perhaps it pours "When he starts it jus pours out of him"

But do leaves pour

they don`t fall either they

Float

Swim, dance and

(We need a new word for this copulation of once-green lungs and the dead leaves disintegrated ones "By Bacteria")

If you invent it you`ll help me (and everyone who reads this) tremendously.

If you give me that word I will not gongratulate you on your poetical skill (It doesn`t exist, anywhere, not even Goethe possessed it.

Rather, I will shout the word, on a an autumnly Finnish hill and it will echo to Buddha and Christ

I think they loved falling leaves...

An especially pleasant ‘write’!:

I am particularly fond of:

“Golden Autumn words fall(ing)
from (a) pensive poetic pen(!)
dipped in rich-earth imagery”;

“Like gentle fallen whispers,
each richly hued phrase caresses,
soothes the restless questing spirit”;

And, the wonderful ending:

“Love is never dead...
sometimes, it is
simply sleeping,
waiting (to be awakened)
by the fall…
of (twin/'spirit-mate')
hearts(!)”

Serious applause for a fine poet
with a rather unique style!!

Your last stanza was the perfect closing to this fine write.

"Love is never dead...
sometimes, it is
simply sleeping,
waiting awakening
by the simultaneous fall
of two hearts."

~Awww, that is so romantic.

This write is metaphorically rich,
as you paint lovely pictures with words.
So you!  I'll look at the falling leaves
a little differently today...

I came back for another 'official read and comment'
on this fine 'write'!

It is indeed rather 'image rich' and 'captivating'!

more sustained applause!!

great poem, a great use of metaphor and symblism. I am a new person to the site, and this is my rfavorite poem so far.

PS; i posted a poem in the open poetry forum #1, if you people could take the time to check it out it would be great. it's called "Seperated, yet never apart"
