Fawn My dear Fawn Geliebte Fawn Warm and vibrant Like the dawn Dewy eyes Full of wonder Full of delight And curious hunger With the shyest of tempers Curiosity's wingspread Is rode with perked ears And sweetly cocked head My darling My baby Never bleak Or shady Oh, gentlest spirit My mind's greatest console I owe all my love To your most pure soul (In reference to my darling boxer pit puppy whose name is Fawn.) warrior undefeated |

Oh, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the poem AND your puppy, though I have never seen him or her (I love all animals on the planet passionately)and I understand exactly how you feel. Brenna, this is your mom, you accidently left this sight up, and I hope your not angry with me, but I was too curious not to read your poems. Iam enchanted by you and your talent.you have always been precious to me in ways that only a mother could understand, there has never been a moment that I have not been proud of you. I wanted to read this "Fawn" again, because it's really beautiful. I found your Mom's message here and I do trust that you will not be angry, dear Brenna. When I read the Title I thought it was going to be about a baby deer (Fawn) as I used to have two baby fawns as pets, not too long ago, but when I saw it was about a dog I was also very interested to read it, as I have a great empathy with our four legged friends. I have a little dog, (Rozzie) and she brings to us an enormous amount of pleasure every day. Warrior, you have written a wonderful poem and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Thanks for sharing Lindsay |
