.

I know
At this distance
It seems so small

And stupid  It was
After all just some
Inconsequent  Another
One of those nondescripts
That come and go
Throughout the world
Every hour

A word or two
An evasion
Or simple denial
Would have saved the time
For better things
And who’s to say
It would be wrong

To have gone on as if
In constant ignorance
Deaf dumb and blind
Completely indifferent
To the tragic call

Of how much it meant
Yet to that fragile
Inchoate termagant
That someone care enough
To try

.

My opinion may not matter, but i stumbled much along the lines, i found no rhythm to cling to.

Thank You both,

WB,

Any time I refer to Harvey
it’s a warning to the reader.
There then can’t be expected
any rhythm and little kindness . . .
With Harvey two plus two equal four
however one might wish it love or five
and life is life and except for death
with no escapes

Thanks again both

John
