Night at My Snoring Grandma’s

I couldn't wait
To go grandma’s house.
But that night
You couldn’t hear a mouse.

Cozy and tired,
I lay down in bed.
but just before falling asleep
She woke up the dead.

I covered my ears
Tight on my head,
And then tried to sleep
On the soft, cozy bed.

Finally it stopped
And I was falling to sleep
Then she started again,
It was as loud as a jeep!

I quickly closed my eyes,
Trying to fall into dream.
But grandma’s snoring
Was to the extreme.

I then prayed to God,
“Oh please let it stop”!
But there was no end,
I was in a workshop!

I wanted to go home!
I didn't know what to do
i wish there was a such thing
I would call the snoring cops on you

I ran into her room
With a massive horn.
I blew it hard
No stop to mourn.

Grandma woke up
With one big yawn.
She looked outside
And it was only Dawn.

Grandma walked into my room
And saw me awake.
She widened her eyes and said
“Did you eat my cupcakes?”

Well, and did you eat them? Grandma's cupcakes must be delicious so you can forgive her for the sleepless night!

At least when Grandma snores it means she is alive, which is surely a blessing.

A lovely humourous write.

Love,
Margherita

Had quite a chuckle Arctic Wind as my wife

is always chastising me for the same

reason, but at least she knows I'm still in the land of the living. Nice write.

Speaking again of gran'mas, you inspired me or planted the seed, for a funny one about granny too. Thanks and a tip of clawmute's hat.
