Blessings of Love

What if love
was just heartaches
and heartbreaks
and all of that.
What if it was broken dreams
and evil schemes
and a game for
fat cats and aristocrats.
To some it is
all of that,
but to those
that persevere
and hold love dear
the blessings of love
will become
crystal clear.
