       Autumn Fantasy

As the last chilled sunlight
fades from frosted pines
with the melancholy surprise
  of Autumn twilight,
we become spectral forms
mirrored in perfect pools
  of clear moonlight,
where our ‘differences’
  are lost
somewhere between
shadow and shape,
and ‘reality’ still stands
for only those lacking
  ‘imagination.’
Step beyond this cosmic
  cinder,
to dance in endless
galactic fountains of
infinite light…flawless truth…
and boundless potentialities!

What a pleasure to come upon this write, at once somber and hopeful. This is another poem that begs to be read in the writer's voice. Especially enjoyed:

"with the melancholy surprise
  of Autumn twilight,
we become spectral forms
mirrored in perfect pools
  of clear moonlight,"

and

"where our ‘differences’
  are lost
somewhere between
shadow and shape,
and ‘reality’ still stands
for only those lacking
  ‘imagination.’
Step beyond this cosmic
  cinder,"

Oh, WOW !!

Enjoyed as usual, over and over again but the interpretations never end!

I really love this and have read it many times over. Thank you for your insights.

Thank you grandly to all who read (and commented) on this 'write'
(it was a rather 'special and important' one to me, philosophically)...

I truly believe the "last best hope" for humanity is the slim chance that
we shall embrace a "Universal" paradigm (more than even just the 'global
perspective' one often hears about)! In comparison to the scintillating
backdrop of that unimaginably incredible cosmos on the other side of
our "lifeship" Earth's atmosphere...our human 'differences' [(in ethnicity,
religion, nationality; etc.) which are, historically, the  basal cause of so
much horror on this side of said respiratory envelope]...simply pale and
'disappear' in significance!

I totally agree! And you said it with your usual mastery.

Absolutely perfect!
