To My Mom, My Angel 5/1/47-10/1/94 Thirteen Years One moment you were here Then in a blink of an eye you were gone Thirteen years has passed Still the pain is just as raw The pain hits hard this morning I gasp for air to breathe Why did you go? You were so young, still so much to do I can't see through my tears Life will go on yes My heart though screams for you These tears are so much more I thought time would lesson the pain Not really sure it has The pain just changes...transforms As the time gets closer to having my own child I promise I will never forget you She'll know you as I do Charlie will hear of your laughter and love Missing you Mom, more than words could ever say Sweet angel, you saved my life There are no words Only thing left to say... I love you "Life is not measured by the breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away" |
