Open up the Door

I confess addictions to lure
The jewelry and dreams of the poor
I confess addictions to style
The beauty of schemes of my wile

I confess to butterfly sighs
The true addiction of my cries
I confess to poetry rhymes
That put me in touch with its times

Fly a world of total adore
With constant addictions to more
Make every green valley my goal
And open the door to my soul

My hand is out to those would dream
Those that would paint a lovely seem
Those that would taste a bittersweet
Those that would build a dream retreat

I swear you’ll love yourself the more
If you would open up this door

My dear Mr. T., here I have been missing you and your poetry ~ and I nearly missed this sweet, 'sonnetic' offering!

With every poem of yours that I have had the privilege of reading, I have gone through an open door and into another world! Thank you!

God bless you, my friend! You are missed ~ and loved.

You show the path, dear Seymour, that leads to the green valleys where the beauty of your soul is shared for the benefit of all.

It's good to find you here.

Love and hugs.

... now dear (((((((((Seymour))))))) you entered a new realm through the open door ... may your steps be joyful up there.

We will miss you terribly, mourn you,
but also we are comforted by the gift of your beautiful heart and mind that you shared with us here on Pip.

Always

Sir Sigh, I am saddened that you have now gone through the door ~ which is surely Heaven's Gate. Enjoy the roses and being with your fellow angels!

Don't forget to pop into pip every once in a while. We'll know you're here by the sweet scent of roses.

The above is exactly how (welcome) Seymour made
me feel when I was brand new to 'P.I.P.-land!'

This was a finely representative penning of a grand human being!

*crying*......how I have missed Sy's new entries the past few months and how much we will miss them in the future.  But we have such treasures, like this one, to reflect on.  Sy, if you can hear me out there, thank you for opening your door to us.   ....jo

A poet who has touched another soul is missed when death comes but truly is never lost.

In the end, as Sy knew, it is why we write.

He will be missed by many.

Real nice picture. I guess in my life the dreams have fallen a little bit short of my expectations. But there is still hope.
