It’sTaken over fifty years
I wish I’d proved me wrong
Craving for the new things
Women wine and song
Every time I got them
They up and turned to old
Just as bloody useless
As a barrow full of gold

Life can be a pleasure
To fill ones wants and need
Some sort of competition
Who has the greatest greed?
Might have the fastest auto
Best place to plant your crop
While climbing up a pyramid
That hasn’t any top

What cost in time and effort
Whose toes did you leave sore
When will you stop climbing?
If you need more and more
Just doing it for others?
Not to increase your wealth
I often heard the answer
Be honest with yourself

Some will never learn that lesson, you're blessed, plus you're communicating it wonderfully!! A pat on the shoulder is in order, methinks.
