When reality turns into fantasy And your soul is turned inside-out When nobody sees your pain And your love turns to anger When your closest loved ones Turn their back on you your only friend Is you When you have experienced All the bad things in life and You cant find the good When you're so empty inside You can't fill up and you feel Like you're a walking zombie When you have lost everyone and Everything that means anything to you Don't want to cope out on life When you are finally convinced you Don't matter and you live by motto |

When reality turns into fantasy I’m lacking understanding When my soul is turned inside out I see the real me When nobody sees my pain I know they have pains of their own When my love turns to anger Maybe it was misguided from the start When your closest loved ones turn their back on you Ask yourself why When you have experienced all the bad things You have forgotten all the good things When you are empty inside Your mind is leaking it can’t fill up Like a walking zombie Did you kill yourself? When you have lost everyone and everything How did you escape the tragedy Don’t want to cop out on life Seems everyone else you lost just did When you finally convinced you don’t matter My motto would be……. Keep taking the pills |

Sexy_Tator_Tot, we all wear our scares and live our battles with life. You are not alone in your feelings my friend, each day is a test so great, but lucky we are to have that test each day to take, though sadness lives in this world, so does happiness and joy, looking at the negatives of life will bring on the negatives, try to take a more positive attitude and you will be amazed as to what you can achieve. I live a life of many questions each day and often have to drag the sadness out of myself to welcome the goodness in, mix with people who are happy and not down on life, get that job you would love, or at least work toward it, write the bad of life down in a book and close it with your woes. I wish you more happiness than you have and that you find the right road to walk and the happiness that waits at its end. no one is stranger to these feelings, especially not myself. It always helps to reach out for a helping hand, but at the end of the day the only person who will be the for you 100% of the time is YOU. So remember you're not Alone in feeling like this and others can be here to help, but ultimately it is the courage and strength you find in yourself that will see you through you darkest moments. Good poem because you touched on something inside me. Poetry can sometimes make us angry or stir emotions that make us not want to say "good poem". But this is a good poem in that you moved me in that way. Life does suck sometimes. It's all part of the game. However, there is always someone out there who cares. As much as you may feel alone (or the person you are writing about) - you are not. And if the person this poem is about were to be gone, people would mourn. Wounds would be carved that can never be healed. A place would be empty that can never be filled. Tears would fall that never end. Life sucks. But it doesn't suck all of the time. And, I believe that everyone has someone who loves them and will listen if offered the opportunity. Alison |

Thank you for your comments..... Reading some of these comments have helped me realize quite a bit about my writing that I never saw.... And Im happy to be involved in pip. I like expressing myself without being critisized about it and getting free opinions. Thank you once again. |
