Flurries of them
flock in,landing
in trees, screeching.
Bustling, jostling, scheming.
Waiting for the
pray to visit
them in their
town, priming, ready.
Signals from the
leader and away.
Wheeling, diving, pray
powerless, seemingly doomed.
Raiding parties alight,
steal, threaten, cajole,
through some sublime
influence of cohersion.
The pray gives
up it's food,
continuing in its
sheeplike behaviour, walking
in lines with
others, while the
victors prepare feathers
for more victims.
