she was honor among altars
a bible woman among plastic trees
with real dragons and fleas
and words from the window men

that hurt her heart in lovely ways
and made her cry samaritan tears
that often softened the sugar sides
of my jaunty judah jewelry

I would walk her demons on mornings
while she fed her god her dreams
and became enlightened on occasion
to make shade for the roses

from the skins of her soul's sombrero

You touch in ways that no one else can.      Loved this one darkd.

The depth of thought
upon a written word
has a ways to go
to match your poetry.

Always a pleasure, Sir.
