Into my head are the many words
that won't release me to dream,
like a little black book of "maybes"
ribboned with a tired desire
and never ending sunsets.

M, your mind thinks so poetically ~ and when it allows you to dream, it must surely dream poetically.

Dear Maureen, this is a very lovely write. It's not easy indeed to empty the mind and allow it to drift into the world of dreams peacefully. But it eventually will anyway!

Love,

Hi Maureen,
Thank you for the comment on my poem "What Poets Do" I have been reading your poetry which I enjoy very much as well. Since I joined the site I've been trying to get aquainted with everyone's work and I think your poems stand out.
