Moments arrive when
Upon your heart
A signal sounds
One dream ceases as
Another begins

In the midst of the web
Waiting and feeling
The intricate dependencies
Of each strand strung
Taut across each day

How strange and empty
The sky seems
From underwater
Perhaps even the sea
Is flowing away or
Falling

It seems the eyes of
Others will fail
To reflect the flying forms
Imposing edges to each horizon
So the water will be as stone

Even as dawn arrives
Extinguishing all stars but one
Thoughts of you
Spread in secret
Subtle, through the fabric
Of my heaven and earth

Life is like a box of Cracker Jacks! It's filled with nuts ~ and lots of sweet things!

It is also like a book with a beginning and an end with many fascinating chapters in between!

Life is like a circuitous road with many twists and turns and highs and lows.

Please forgive my trite similes. It is apparent that your poetic posturings provoked these philosophical ponderings! lol (I love to alliterate!)
