Not sure what I'm doing
here. Seems this thing
happened again, this thing
where I was confused and
now I am just waiting.

I thought it was lunchtime
45 minutes ago. But they
are still there, heads bent,
crunching their numbers,
reading their reports.

I am hungry.

Could it be that half of
12 is really half? Or half
again more? Or if I don't
eat this noon, the flesh on
my sides will slide away
and he will have nothing
to hold onto?

He says he likes it.
The flesh.

Yes, I am hungry.

Hi, sky! I see that you are from Peru! That's curious because I enjoyed 'peru-sing' your poem!

"the flesh on
my sides will slide away
and he will have nothing
to hold onto?"

~ That would never do! I'm sending you some angel hair pasta smothered in my heavenly sauce, via angel air express! That should give him something "to hold onto".

Giving you a warm, welcoming hug,

Earth Angel

Thanks for the welcome. And the thoughts of pasta. To make up for the long wait, I overate. So at least "he" won't have to reevaluate his feelings...
