The greatest lie I ever told was “Yes” when you asked if I was over you. The second greatest lie was “No” when you asked if I still loved you. Third place goes to “I love you” to every women since you. Number four is “That’s not what I meant to say”, when I call her by your name. Fifth, goes to “I’ll never do that again” when she asks if I ever think of you. Type II poet. Its worth the work. [This message has been edited by Bronzeage (09-15-2007 08:04 PM).] |

This totally reminds me of some conversations I had with my ex-wife as she was feeling me out about my true feelings before she divorced me. Not sure why I lied to her...something to do with my personality at that time and the pain...perhaps I thought she would never leave me...James |
