Music: A Sense of Jasmine by Daniel Donadi

A Man and A Woman
~ Linda L. Dowd ~

Softly, ever so softly,
he came to me in the still of the night.
His warm, moist breath
breathed life into my being.
Rose-scented evening air
came wafting through my open window,
filling me with a deep, inner calm.
As he lie down beside me,
he firmly drew my body close to his own.
With his strong arms wrapped around me,
my body flushed with burning desire
for he and I to become as one.

Stirrings of passion brought me beyond
the boundaries of my waking hours as
he explored all that is me.
Limned by the light of the full moon,
his magnificent form glistened
from his eagerness to bring me pleasure.
My breathing quickened with his caressing of
both my body and my soul.
With each loving, yet commanding, touch,
I rose higher and higher...

His manliness filled my senses
as he explored my body with abandon,
~ Embracing me, kissing me, caressing me...
As our passions peaked, I quivered
and I surrendered myself to him ~ completely.
As we were swept away in a tidal wave of bliss,
our pounding hearts were beating as one.
No longer were we "he" and "I"
~ There was only "us"...

As he cradled me in his warm embrace,
he whispered of his eternal love for me.
I lay serenely in the flow of his mellifluous words,
bathed in the afterglow of our loving...

Such ecstasy is truly a spiritual experience
~ the joining of a man and a woman,
in rapturous harmony, as it is meant to be.
Softly, ever so softly,
he came to me in the still of the night.

From your passionate, intensely sensuous words I deduce that Angels know of true deep Oneness even more than "common mortals" ...
Yes I agree with you, dear Linda, this merging IS a spiritual experience at its best.

Being the "still of night" here, I will listen to your voice hopefully tomorrow.

Meanwhile, my compliments, for this highly captivating love song.

Love,
Margherita

hoot_owl_rn ~

Hi, Ruth! It just dawned on me what the "rn" in your nomme de plume might represent. Whenever I key your name into a response, I always say in my head "Hoot Owl Run". I just now recalled that you are a nurse and that "rn" most likely stands for R.N. ~ Duh, me! ~ and I'm an R.N. as well! lol

Anyhoot, I mean "anyhoo", I thank you for your highly complimentary responses to my recent recordings. They have been greatly appreciated!

Sending a hug-o-love your way,

Linda

Lady Kate ~

I have had lots of practice reciting my poetry. When I first started doing it, I was so nervous and my mouth would dry up and then I'd start to choke!

I'm pleased that my 'performance' has improved! ~ Thank you for the kind comment. I have enjoyed reciting all three of them. I may do a lullaby next ~ or one on the changing of the seasons. ~ Oh, what to do?!? What to do?!? I really enjoy putting them all together. It's a bit tedious ~ but lots of fun! lol

Loving hug,
LA

Hello, Chosen One!

I was surprised to see your responses, for as you say, my poems have not been raised up for viewing. However, with one of them, it did go up to the top after I keyed my response to you!

Here goes! Bombs away! Let's see what happens now when I click on SUBMIT.

In any case, I would like to thank you for your kind words and your patronage!

Loving hug,

EA

This is very, very sexy.
If I had children,
I would even let them read it.
I type ever so carefully,
for at any moment,
You might leap right out
my monitor and Braille display,
and I'll have to catch you in my arms.
It's a small table I am sitting at.
There are a bunch of other things on it.
So please,
if you would come to me like that,
please be careful ... please ....
Even the biggest hug I could give you
wouldn't be enough ..
and anyway ...
I would have to wait in line ...

Jaime ~

Words fail me! But it is apparent that words do not fail you! What a sweet and impassioned reply! I would be careful not to hurt either of us if I were to fly out of your monitor. Angel smiley face here.

It still amazes me what you have been able to accomplish with the challenges you have in your life.

Thank you so much for the effort you put into reading and responding to my poem. May your Braille keyboard forever keep on ticking! ~ so to speak!

Loving hug and a big smile,

Earth Angel

Paradise Islands ~

I must confess, that your reading/listening to all of my recent recordings, is very flattering ~ and highly gratifying!

I am new at this 'mini productions' and will hopefully get better at doing them as I go along.

Thanks again, PI

EA.
Guess what I have copied on to my Little BrailleNote computer?
And guess where I will take it
and then what I will read on it
at the end of a day
when a sometimes harsh and unforgiving world
has demanded more from me than I could give it?
And guess what will be bringing me the softsollice and the tenderness and comfort
to soothe away  pain,
and transport me to another world
Where I might even be with you?
(sorry for the mis spelled. I should have first done this in word and then pasted it in  instead of doing it directly on the editor so please please forgive my clumsy words and typos.
Yes, 98.6 was indeed the medicine that saved me;
and I loved my baby ...
Ver very, very long a  gentle Lation-american hugs, dear dream
JaimeO god I better sstop trying to fix this and just  submit.  Forgive me ...

Jaime ~

My cheeks have just flushed the rosiest pink as I read your effusive reply.

I am so pleased that my recorded poem provided "the soft solace and the tenderness and comfort
to soothe away" your pain and to transport you to another world. Smiling face here.

Thank you so much for the kind words.

Loving hug,

EA
