Gloss

on the backs
of dragonflies
drinking next
to diamonds
in mud puddles
after rainstorms
even thunder
can bring gloss

I really enjoy the winsome quality of this poem.  It's lovely and makes me smile and feel hope grow for better.  Better what?  Just -- better.

Helen,

I'm sorry I almost missed this one.
With your permission I would like
to add it to my Word file of poems
by others.

It's very good.
