My own little Icey Oblivion

0 posted 2007-09-10 12:35 PM

So cold but I feel alive,
Leeching off of sorrow to thrive.
Been consumed in this dark hive,
A voice shrieks out like piercing knives.

"So sacrifice yourself,
And let me have what's left,
I know that I can find,
The fire in your eyes,
I'm going all the way!"

Pour the salt into the open wound,
This will all be over soon.
Regain control and break free of this tomb,
Off in a distance a voice breaks through the room.

"So sacrifice yourself,
And let me have what's left,
I know that I can find,
The fire in your eyes,
I'm going all the way!"

Follow the voice,
Lead by choice.
Weathered and poised,
A silent voice rejoiced.

"So sacrifice yourself,
And let me have what's left,
I know that I can find,
The fire in your eyes,
I'm going all the way!
Sacrifice yourself,
Give me what's left of you!"

I am the little cracked mirror

Yikes! Intense, Hot Stuff!

"So cold but I feel alive,
Leeching off of sorrow to thrive.
Been consumed in this dark hive,"

~ Methinks a little sunshine and some hot, mulled cider might be in order. If so, I'll send some  of each, your way! lol
