Alive

I’m waiting for life
To start from a chance.
No right to give up –
My love is my strength.
No right to give in
To mere circumstance,
And faster goes the beat in my chest.
No right to be weak,
No tears to cry,
No more latter me –
I’ve left her behind.
If there is no air,
I’ve still got to breathe,
If fall in despair –
Still crawl on my knees.
In fear or anguish
And everything despite
The main is that hope’s still alive.
