 Artist: Cyn McCurry Siren Songs ~ Linda L. Dowd ~ I was borne from the seed of Achelous. On zephyrs, my songs sail o’er seas. I pine for my playmate Persephone, And been wailing her loss ~ centuries. No seafarer shall e’er escape me. I shall seduce him with my siren songs. Lulling to sleep the unsuspecting, ~ The briny deep is where man belongs. Persephone, Persephone, where are you? I search and I search without end. Forever I mourn your disappearance, ~ My companion, a sister, my friend. I was borne from the seed of Achelous. On zephyrs, my songs sail o’er seas. I pine for my playmate Persephone, And been wailing her loss ~ centuries. . |
