Favoured yet famished a fledgling flounders
in fields where the feelings flourish and flaunt
and fraught with fright she would feign a faint
if fashioned in form like fine filigree.

Furrowed in frowns her forehead is found
familiar like friends to many fine folk
and freckles here there a full frontal fanfare
in warn of a fire aflame in the frame.

Surefooted she’s not, feet feel for the fall
foretold in the fables of many forays
into the fold of forbidden fancies
brought to the fore by fantasy.

Feint sighs fly free from internal fear
eyelids flip-flap five hundred times four
until a façade waylays the few
and allows the fledgling to flee.

But the fledgling now free is still into feel
and a-wishing to be like fine filigree!
