           “Soul Search”
           (Terza Rima)

A song much softer than an Angel’s sigh,
no sweeter sound my soul has ever known.
The melody uplifts my soul on high.

Cradled in loving winds so lightly blown,
tis then my yearning spirit flies so free,
while searching for the one to call its own.

In following the luring melody
it seeks a matching soul in clouds above,
the one for whom its life was meant to be.

So soft and pure, just like a snow white dove,
a perfect soul mate with a love so true,
to blend as one forever sharing love,
with each day dawning love begins anew.
With joy I find that perfect one is you.

Donna... Thank you for your lovely response. Warmed my heart.

Linda... your words touch deeply and are embraced warmly. Thank you.

Milly... Kindred spirits are drawn together. If that were not so... how would soulmates find each other and blend. The Shadow knows. Thank you for your sweet response.

I know how that is.
This one spoke to me, and those are my favorite kind of poems and songs.
