Black Forest Moon

Bright white moon

luculent starlight

black forest

mystic mountains…

a pensive river seeks

the inscrutable sea

The path of the eye is marvelous in this poem. We start with focus on the moon, widen our focus to the stars, move down to the forest, the mountain, down further to the river, then out to the sea. We also move from light to dark, then into infinity. Fine choreography, fine words to match.

I too imagined immediately the Schwarzwald...
and then the Rhein and the North Sea ...

Thank you for this trip in the magic of moonlight.

Very lovely.

Seek and it shall find!

Simply stated ~ yet not so simple.
