Forever In Your Heart

0 posted 2007-08-24 04:13 PM

Peeling off layers,
one at a time,
old skin removed,

Small holes,
reveal newness,
slowly arriving,

Until the new,
refined me,
comes through,

Out with the old,
in with the new,
awaiting life,

To live once more,
with happiness,
life and love,

Peacefully resting,
inside, knowing,
who I am,

What I want,
awaiting life,
to hit me,

To begin,
where I should've
started all along.

This silent awaking,
finds me happy,
piece by piece,

Growing everyday,
until all of me,
is completly restored.

Like an ancient artwork,
whose colors were faded,
needing a painter,

With care and love,
compassion, devotion,
to restore me completly
back to my original form,

Then and only then,
can I be admired,
and loved, throughout
ages to come.

Now this is "hard work" - getting back to original form that is.  When the mind remembers, the heart knows love.
