"I Gave My Heart"

I gave my heart, my soul to you,
to blend together, one from two.
Forever one we swore to be.
That day you gave your heart to me
and pledged to me a love so true.

So we became among the few
whose soul would soar up in the blue
on winds of love that blew so free.
I gave my heart.

Such happiness we never knew,
could ever end for me and you.
A love light ending, who could see
a heart soul rending tragedy
when we were torn, from one came two.
I gave my heart.

  James... most willingly given...

Milady Kate... my poetry is the tears from mine own heart
still filled with the lingering memories
and clinging to the hope of a dream
that once was, wishing for again.

MoonShadow, fortunate be the one to whom you give your loving and poetic heart.

This is another for my library. I am enjoying your poetry very much! ~ and you're teaching me a variety of poetic forms as well!
Thanks, MS!

Loving Light,
EA

Linda... It would be I, surely blessed in the giving.
May the Forms be with you.
