somebody's dungeon

The call is growing silent
as the love becomes distant,
as space engulfs the empty
that your leaving left behind.

The light of passion dims,
the heated rush is waning,
soon the longing, once incessant
will fade, and simply die.

You transmit the melancholy so well!

You speak a truth that many can sadly relate to!

Ah, Rosie... It's so good to see your work here again!! *S*

as space engulfs the empty
that your leaving left behind.

How beautifully you've described this ache... this hollowness. Excellent write!

Anne... the imagery is vivid and the
             ambiance is sad...
              yet the flicker of embers
                 still illuminate hope.

Everything fades and dies with the passing of time. Eloquent capture of the scenario!

Dear Rose of White, I was thinking of you just the other day ~ and voila! ~ you're back!

"as space engulfs the empty
that your leaving left behind."

~ I've been there, and you depict that emptiness very well with this melancholy write.

Giving you a warm, welcome-back hug,

EA
