Ghost of the Gulf

he was a blond haired beauty
with eyes of the sea
must have been a pirate
for he had captured me
upon the stormy waters
how he rolled my soul
so quickly I submitted
and gave him all control
he was a light house
beaming to the tossed
when he looked into my eyes
he saw that I was lost
empty thin pink shell
a house without a home
I was splashing waves
he was whispering foam
the truest male siren
that called to my heart
how could he be there
and never be a part
he’s the ghost of the gulf
who rides the wind free
slaved my heart in ransom
and will not let me be

"no darkness has ever been deep enough to extinguish my personal knowledge of love"  Anne Rice

Your words weave a seduction every bit as powerful as his... Beautiful write!
