we made our ring shapes in sand
with our ends exposed
writhe writing new legends
not settling for just urge prints
but something more worldly

that the gods would remember
and drink their own thoughts about
on slow moving sailings
across the window walls of eden
when they oozed their eyes

and made the warm rain on glass
when they made the widows moan
and crave their finger paints
so they could dance new tattoos
in the shimmer of lonely

we held hands under water there
not to hide our sinning
but to keep our blood cool
lest our wrists would burn
in holy weldlock combinations

thus ending our frantic freedoms

D

It's just me.
That groupie who is mesmerized by your words and images.

Yep, that must be me
You know, I like it lots.
