As Early as September

Somedays I feel strong
as a fishing line
even though I'm
not with you,
I know that
you are true.

On other days
I feel the ache of
you being far away
and like a fisherman
without a catch
I fold up my net
wishing I had the prize
and wondering how I'll
survive without you.

"Perhaps I'll see her
as early as September,
if not let it be in
October or November,
surely not as late
as December."

James - put out the intent for September and don't ever think of December!
