standing on a shadow's lace

I Wait

there is poetry inside my head
in dirt beneath the nails
under the bell jar waiting
to spill like fluid liquid
in tender folds and wrinkled time
as moisture gathers under dome
deep beneath feeding tender roots
fragile is the touch of petals
pastel flows to crimson time
and I wait
