I am enigma
the purest of fantasy
the core, the center
of every mans dream;
I know the secrets
to each woman’s desires

I am cold as ice
yet burn with fire.

I can be completely frustrating
on the verge of complication.
In the same breath spoken, as gentle
I too, can be total domination.

I am lady
I am friend
I say my prayers
I curse like men

I am afraid of nothing
but not always am I strong
I rage like the storm

I am autumn’s song

I am bold
sometimes I am shy
I'll leave you in love
left only with why's.

I am both desired
and hated by men
I am mystery

I am, woman.

each time makes me stronger...but after the fall....
we get back up and move on,
because the past is the past
and there is no tomorrow
if remaining in still waters
while the river flows on...~dmsmith~

ah now you see....
the mysery of women is that they are like water..like rivers... there is always a danger yet there is also always a pleasure..

one can find a deep quiet inside themselves, when they pause...

very nicely done ma'am

A very comtimplative analogy that you serve up in that statement sir, and one that I can certainly give considerable thought to.
Even the river, though strong and steady can be depleted at times too.

Most certainly indeed there are times when standing still that a peace is found...

good morning sir, and thank you for stopping in.

well women have been compared to many things... none of which truly do them justice ma'am....

and it is from the stillness inside...we can see enough of the enigmas sometimes to at least slightly grasp an understanding...

lol...oh...I know that I myself have been compared to many things.. some good perhaps, some bad but regardless, I am always still just me, comfortable in this skin I'm in regardless of what anyone else might ever think.

This ‘write’ is most fine!:

I am especially fond of:

“I am enigma
the purest of fantasy
the core, the center
of every mans dream”;

“I am autumn’s song”;

AND, the ending:

“I am both desired
and hated by men
I am mystery

I am, woman(!)”

Serious, sustained applause!!
