I pushed my hand
Against the crumbled wall,
And with it’s breathe
Along the raspberry leaves,

A harvest could be seen,
With my darkest steel eyes
An air gasped
Below the white siege flask.

Below, a mussel parlayed
Its body among the shredded trees,
And with its hindered arms,
She corralled its tail
Among her left cheek

As to say with her ears,
The night is only
A spirit that will
Pause the harvests
Dank, cocooned, dew.

Like a lift among
My tan sand shoes,
I ran to see its reach,

Its split lens into a
World that traded sins
For ivory paved skin.

Enjoyed the clever animation of the muscle...a picnic that perhaps might have toasted to the last wine of summer.
Well done

~ Very poetic!!!

I enjoyed the entire poem! I was pulled into that microcosmic world.

Nicely done, very much enjoyed.

after a fall I get back up,
move on 'cause the past is the past and theres no tomorrow if remaining in still waters while the river flows on ~dsmith
