Stalwart evergreens march…
up grey-granite slopes
through primordial fog,
past cascading falls
  of rock and water,
down a thousand
spectacular declivities
of ‘Deep-Time’...
  Yosemite!

I used to live very close to Yosemite and it is amazing, that whole area is!
